Aardlijn

Aardlijn develops software for cloud infrastructure, security and compliance, and builds its own applications alongside it.

About the name

An aardlijn is the Dutch word for an earth line: the conductor that carries fault current safely to ground. It does not prevent the fault. It gives the fault a safe path, away from the people and the equipment.

What an earth line does for lightning out of a cloud, we try to do for risk out of the cloud: not pretend it is absent, but make sure it has somewhere safe to go.

The group

The group consists of two private limited companies under Dutch law, both incorporated in August 2026 with their registered office in Amsterdam.

Aardlijn Holding B.V.

Owns and develops the group's software, and provides management services.

Aardlijn B.V.

Builds and operates applications.
